Understanding protective security isn’t only about responding to risk. It’s about understanding the people, skills and capabilities that sit behind it.
Recently, the Subrosa Group team delivered a defensive and evasive driving experience for a family office client. The objective wasn’t to prepare them for high-threat environments, or to suggest that these techniques are necessary for every client. Rather, it was to provide an engaging insight into the specialist skills employed by professional security drivers and Close Protection Officers.
Throughout the day, participants explored vehicle dynamics, positioning, defensive driving principles and controlled manoeuvres, gaining a greater appreciation of how trained security professionals use vehicles to reduce risk and protect those in their care.
The result was an enjoyable, hands-on experience that combined practical learning with plenty of excitement, helping bridge the gap between the protection our teams provide and the clients we support.
At Subrosa Group, we believe that informed clients make stronger security partners, and experiences such as these offer a unique opportunity to learn, engage and build confidence in a safe, controlled environment.
