A founder member of Subrosa Group, Niall drives the strategic growth and business development of the company, employing his extensive international experience in strategic and operational management and training across Europe and the Middle East.
Niall has over 24 years operational experience, formally as a member of the UK’s elite Special Forces and Royal Marines and subsequently in the private sector as senior security manager for the Brunei Royal family.
Establishing his own company enabled Niall to expand his security expertise to include International Business Intelligence, Risk Management, Specialist and Cyber Security, all services now available to Subrosa Group’s extensive portfolio of clients.
Operational successes have been many and varied, but include being seconded to King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, initially as Security Manager and subsequently as Emergency Management Manager to set up and train a crisis management team running alongside a business continuity plan.
Niall has taken the company from a start-up security firm to a multi-division global network providing expertise, strategic planning, consultancy and personnel to multi million pound projects worldwide, a testament to Niall’s deep and essential understanding of cultural differences, impressive business acumen and international contacts.
Niall is a proactive member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, the Association of European Threat Assessment Professionals and ASIS. Niall is also a contributor for CNN, BBC and ITN, often brought in to offer expert opinion on security and counter terrorism issues.
A former Special Operations Operative with over 28 years’ experience in the private security sector, the Subrosa Group Chief Operations Officer has undertaken thousands of security and investigative projects worldwide. He specialises in working closely with clients to identify and design strategies to meet business security objectives as quickly as possible and guiding national and international clients through the legislation associated with gaining accurate, functional evidence. He has been a partner, director and consultant for several major security and investigations companies throughout the United Kingdom.
Caldine is Subrosa Group’s friendly and ambitious Office Manager dealing with a diverse set of administrative tasks and human resource functions. She provides support in various aspects to facilitate the smooth running of the business. These tasks include, but are not limited to, overseeing personnel, ensuring systems operate cohesively, taking on accounting responsibilities, liaising with outside agencies such as IT, accountants and financial services.
Before joining the company in 2006, Caldine worked for a diverse range of organisations in South Africa and the UK, ranging from business start-ups to large corporations. Her extensive work experience encompasses various industries including media production, world-class five-star hospitality establishments, iconic tourist landmarks, small to big corporates and national health services.
Caldine’s diverse background provides the perfect foundation and a profound level of adaptability for her multiple roles within Subrosa Group.
Currently an Associate Member of the Association of Business Executives, member of the National Hypnotherapy and Counselling Associations & member of CIMA, Caldine holds an advanced diploma in Human Resource Management, and is currently pursuing her CIMA professional qualification and a degree in Psychology.
Caldine is a fully qualified Zumba & Level 2 Fitness Instructor and enjoys keeping fit and training in martial arts, with various martial art accolades to her name. Caldine also has a keen interest in Eastern philosophies and healing practices.
Layla joined Subrosa Group as Executive Assistant and has extensive experience with a variety of administrative tasks ensuring the smooth running of the company, ranging from legal correspondence between clients, reviewing incoming reports & invoices and administrative management for the Executive Directors. Layla brings a proactive and flexible approach to co-ordinating several different priorities within Subrosa Group.
Layla has over 6 years’ experience working in an administrative role and has adapted to each firm she has worked for previously as well as Subrosa Group. By joining Subrosa Group she has continued to develop her knowledge and skill set as Subrosa Group’s different entities allow her to use these abilities across all platforms.
Throughout the years Layla has gathered many qualifications for IT & Business Administration and recently Layla attended the Door Supervisor course, which has enabled her to expand her knowledge about the security industry and apply this to related responsibilities.
Sarah has worked as a freelance assistant accountant for fifteen years in the film industry including four years running a location support company to film & TV productions. Prior to this Sarah worked several roles within finance for various companies for over a decade.
Sarah started with Subrosa Group in March 2017 and has extensive knowledge of accounting principles. Sarah collates all the finances of the Subrosa Group and uses her previous experience as an advantage to help maintain business proficiency.
Sarah enables Subrosa Group to manage their essential business maintenance as she uses data to review, prepare and finalise the accounts. Sarah’s role consists of tasks which are diverse and require skilled knowledge which Sarah has gained throughout her 15 years of previous accountancy responsibilities.
Meirion is SRG Security’s Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager and brings a wealth of experience as an accomplished commercial, operations and compliancy professional with integrated facilities management service provider experience majoring in security to both public and private sectors.
Meirion’s impressive track record includes regional operational management of combined contract value of £15m and implementation and management of ISO Quality Management, Health & Safety, and Environmental Compliancy for a national company with turnover of over £80m.
Meirion’s skills ensure he can assist company growth by achieving security accreditation for them, often on the first attempt. He has worked with government facilities and large corporations carrying out risk assessments, security surveys and has led successful bid teams on multi million-pound projects. Meirion has successfully managed service contracts in excess of £1m with contracts now into their fifth year.
Christian is Director of the SRG Special Projects division, overseeing development and implementation of bespoke projects for multinational companies and high net worth individuals.
Christian has an impressive range of skills that he brings to his position with Subrosa Group. Early in his career Christian’s expertise in martial arts saw him seconded to the military as a Close Quarter Battle instructor. During this time Christian expanded his skill set to include evasive driving, residential security, mobile security, surveillance, counter surveillance and anti-surveillance craft. Christian went on to use his expertise to work closely within the music industry, arranging and ensuring the personal safety of many high-profile musicians.
Subsequently, Christian established an EU investigation division for SSSI Ltd as well as heading up cross border intelligence gathering exercises and security matters for a client base of both corporate entities and ultra-high net worth individuals.
Sam Tilston has over 20 years IT and Cyber Security experience with a strong background in cyber counter-terrorism. Sam has provided counter-terrorism threat intel and monitoring in the UK along with dark web intel in the UK and abroad. He has experience in several areas of the cyber security department including military grade secure communications, penetration testing, cyber defence for high net worth individuals & family offices and mobile device & cellular network security.
Sam is the Director of SRG Cyber Security, ensuring client’s IT systems and communications are secure, along with providing access to information available in the cyber realm.
SRG Security’s Senior Operations Manager, Michael has been with the company since 2014. With over 15 years experience in the security sector, Michael started his career in the events industry where he managed large scale events as well as looking after high-profile clients within the industry.
Michael also specialises in commercial service delivery to clients and also deals with projects from the health and safety and risk assessment stage to the deployment of personnel.
He also brings his key skills and extensive knowledge of the industry with him which includes 15 years in the private sector and delivers a bespoke service to clients and customers.
Steve is Operations Manager for SRG Technical Security, specialising in the design and implementation of technical solutions for corporate clients. Steve initially joined Subrosa Group as a guarding administration and vetting manager before moving on to operations manager of SRG Special Projects.
Steve possesses impressive skill sets covering surveillance, corporate investigation and fraud. Steve initially worked as a close protection officer for celebrities before moving on to specialist surveillance working in the long-term infiltration of criminal networks, dealing with the illegal importation of drugs and contraband. At this time Steve also worked on board the Orient Express as maritime security advisor for the Dutch diplomatic service while also providing close protection for their families.
Steve then moved on to an administrative position as Head of Corporate Investigation for a large London based company involved in the investigation of complex corporate mortgage and banking fraud located in both the UK and Republic of Ireland. He then progressed on to the investigation of fraud on behalf of several Lloyds syndicates and in the investigation of personal injury and fraudulent accident insurance claims for several Republic of Ireland syndicates before joining Subrosa Group.
Adam is Assistant Operations Manager for SRG Security and is responsible for providing both administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager. Adam has assisted in overseeing the establishment of new guarding sites for SRG Security with a key focus being growth. Adam also has a good background in security and risk reviews therefore enabling him to provide suitable and realistic security solutions to individual requirements, as well as practical experience in delivering these solutions.
Adam joined the 2nd Battalion Parachute Regiment of the British Army in 2001 was deployed to South Armagh in late 2002, Iraq in late 2003 and again in late 2005. Duties included conducting a range of conventional operational battalion duties, patrols, quick reaction force, guarding, indigenous force training and mentoring. Adam was also deployed in specialist operational roles such as Close Protection for embassy and transitional government of Iraq staff.
After leaving the Army in 2012 Adam worked within the hospitality sector, extending his knowledge of management in the commercial sector before joining SRG Security as a security officer, team leader and supervisor.
